Something good you may have missed this year is the rise of Caribou's "Sun". As one of the best electronic soul rock downtempo live jam outfits (!) to ever come out of Canada, Daniel Snaith's mammal-surnamed band has continued to successfully rip the envelope of musical definition. With the album "Swim", and the singles "Sun" and "Odessa," Caribou has maintained their legacy of rock-hop-funk-disco-everything-inspired but nothing all at once dopeness.
