Spike Lee, one of the most visionary directors of all time, dug deep into the feel of jazz not only as a music, but as a thriving American pseudo-culture in the film Mo' Betta Blues. To parallel Spike's cinematic genius, legendary jazz musicians and composers Branford Marsalis and Terence Blanchard pushed the straight-ahead jazz format to new heights with the score and soundtrack to the film.
